I am stunned to learn of the news that Gerry Ryan has been found dead today at his home in Dublin…..may God care for his soul and may his soul rest in peace……Sympathy to his lovely family and estranged wife Moira….. God bless you all.

Nice, nice job on the utube piece. It’s very informative and adds a nice history and background to the festival. I attended last year and loved it. I especially love the great line up for this year. Like you note, there’s something for everyone.

I am a 12 grader student from Lebanon, and I study the French Baccalaureate. As a part of my studies I chose to take extra courses in English literature, because I really love this language that made communicating with foreigners a lot easier. I love to explore the rich and diversified history of English literature.
We are currently working on Jennifer Johnston’s novel “How many miles to Babylon?”, and my classmates and I have a lot of questions on this intriguing absurd novel. We would really love to ask them to the admirable author Jennifer Johnston, I already talked to my teacher about it, and we thought why not contact the author and or the editor. It could be done preferably by skype, but if this is not possible we could e-mail each other.
P.S: If anyone can pass this message to the author, please do, I would really appreciate that!
